Isaiah 25:2-4

² For you have made^[a] the city a heap,
    the fortified city a ruin,
the palace of foreigners is no longer^[b] a city;
    it will never^[c] be rebuilt.
³ Therefore strong peoples will glorify you;
    a city of ruthless nations, they will fear you.
⁴ For you have been a refuge to the poor,
    a refuge to the needy in his distress,
a shelter from the rainstorm,
    a shade from the heat.
